Why do I need to register an account to make a purchase?

Are Media Books shopping cart is set up to ensure the best customer service possible. Creating an account ensures that our team can fix errors without any delay in shipment, and allows repeat orders to be placed with ease.

If you already have an account, but have forgotten your username or password, click Login for Express Checkout and follow the prompts for resetting your information, or contact us directly at contact@aremediabooks.com.au.  There are real human beings who would love to help you place your order or help in any way.

How do I change my password?

To change your password simply click ‘Login’ at the top of the site to access your Account, select 'Change Password' on the left hand side of the page, and follow the prompts - don't forget to hit the 'Change' button to lock it in.

If you forgot your password, select “I forgot my password” on the login page and follow the prompts to reset.

How do I change my address?

To add a new address simply click ‘Login’ at the top of the site and edit your addresses.

Are my details safe and confidential? How will they be used?

Are Media Books maintains the security and privacy of your details with the respect and confidentiality you deserve. Please read our Privacy Policy for the full details of our guidelines.

Is it safe to purchase online?

Are Media Books adheres to the international Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) in addition to using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology whether you complete your purchase online, through a mail coupon or phone call.

Ordering

How do I know if my order has been successful?

On successful completion of your order you will receive a confirmation of your order to the email address you nominated at the start of your purchase onsite. This email will contain your order number and details of your purchase. If you order a digital product, it will contain the instructions for downloading your products.

A tax invoice will be sent the next business working day.

How can I pay for my order?

Are Media Books accepts credit card payments through payment provider “Payment Express”.  Are Media Books does not store credit card details.

What happens if a product is available for pre-order?

You will be able to place an order to purchase the product, and it will be shipped to you as soon as it is available.

What happens if my order is placed on back-order?

You will place an order that will be fulfilled when back in stock – you will only be charged when the product is released from our warehouse.  If you wish to cancel your back-order, please email our friendly customer service team at contact@aremediabooks.com.au

Delivery

How long will my order take to arrive?

Are Media Books processes your order once payment has been completed and will dispatch the product as soon as possible.  This may take up to 7-10 working days and is dependent on stock delivery and the postal service.  Where available, Magshop provides as much delivery information as possible.  Please check the “Delivery Info” tab on individual product pages for further information.

Does Are Media Books offer international delivery?

Are Media Books does offer international delivery.  In order to see international delivery rates, please enter your non-Australian delivery location and the website will update appropriate shipping costs on the Cart Details page.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If you order arrives damaged, please take a picture of your delivery and email contact@aremediabooks.com.au.

Does Are Media Books offer refunds?
